That was a hard fight getting that giant bream in the boat, LOL..
My dad was an avid fisherman and he instilled the love for the outdoors in me. We would go fishing in the evenings when I got home from school, later on I entered tournaments and was able to fish in several states. The one thing I have always tried to do is show others the joy of fishing like my Dad taught me so many years ago.
Whether you're sitting on a pier, on the shore, or in a boat, there is nothing quite like the joy of fishing.

As the newbie of the group, I found the passion for the outdoors / fishing later in life. From the beauty and the calm, to the times you don't catch anything;. I hope our lures help you catch those good and funny times in the great outdoors.

I remember a hot Florida day in the early 60s. Was at a pier on Sarasota Bay with my Dad and my Uncle Arlie. I was about 14. Had this stout, short saltwater rod with a big baitcaster reel.
Made a cast and backlashed the line. All of a sudden the big floater went under. I reared back setting the hook, A big tarpon leaped ! Now I’m trying to reel in this monster fish bigger than I am …….while the line is still backlashed ! Also - I had turned the rod and reel upside down while trying to untangle the line! The tarpon leaped once more - and I lost him.
So - I didn’t get the tarpon - but that fish - and fishing got ME hooked ! I stayed summers with Uncle Arlie. We would surf fish on Anna Marie Island. We’d dig up sand fleas and catch whiting and pompano. It was magical - inspired my young wild imagination - like a “ Gilligan’s Island “
castaway or a “ Robinson Crusoe “ character.
Life fast forwards - to living on the big lake and river in Florida. Son Matt and I - with Paul - beloved member of the family and fishing guru - going after what the Great Water has to offer - just excited me to no end! When I would catch a largemouth bass - there really is no sensation like it !
To me- there is no comparison between saltwater fishing- and freshwater fishing for a largemouth bass. ……and I still love saltwater fishing.
Of course - any bass caught - automatically - is big ! Difficult to adequately explain. The setting- is more personal. I guess it’s because it is the area you’re used to, grew to enjoy, learned its moods , nuances, reactions to weather and all of nature.
You know its sounds, textures, and colors. You never stop learning ! You sense its quality of time and realize nature is requiring you to act !
This magnificent , exquisite quality of such an area- to enjoy such a perfect experience as fishing - is of God -Divinely Inspired. What I see and feel through all my senses - makes me want to do all I can to take care of it - and not trash it !
With your good companion - you’re out on the water at early morning , it’s slick calm. Mist- hovering - moving with the slight breeze. This is the essence of the best of life- gifted to us by our loving Creator.
You can see infinite shades of 1 color - the green - of the forest - the trees and plants! It all matches naturally with the blue of the sky !
I get such a feeling of freedom that touches the soul! Thoughts gently come - beautifully - wonderfully different from any other time…..There is that feeling of time itself- ageless- slowed down for your special moments - to fish and catch the big one !
We are so blessed - this crew of 4 now. We are making our own lures- the way we know how they should be made ! It is with lasting quality, custom made to order. Our lures are in the colors that work with nature - not against it. We are making lure products of the kind we always wanted but could never find ! Now we make them for others to enjoy just as we do !
To get a pole, a rod and reel - rig it with your special lure - you just know you’re going to hook your biggest fish yet ! That mindset - that special, personal feeling …..there is nothing like it !
Doing it with family- good friends……well- now you’re talking ! Oh - say you’re fishing by yourself. You catch a big one. You get it to the dock . You’re now holding it by the lip. It takes a strong wiggle ! You lose your grip - it drops- hits the dock - and bounces into the water ! You lost that big bass ! You cannot think of a good enough cuss word - you’re so mad !
Now you’re home - telling the crew, “ I caught this B i i i i g Bass ! Got it to the dock - was holding it - trying to get my phone out to take a picture. It gave a good jerk. Couldn’t hold on and lost it !! It hit the dock and bounced into the water !
Son Matt says, “ You got a picture of it ?” “ Well no ,” I answer. Matt says,” Well all you got is a fish story.”
So - always the challenge is on. Catch the big one ! The wonderful thing is - they are there- little ones - big ones - blow-your-mind big ones!
Just got to out-smart ‘em ! So I’ve been told. That bumper sticker - saying - “ The worst day of fishing is better than the best day at work.” ? …….true statement.

The long winded member of the group
Larry is one of our extreme testers. He tests durability, If a lure can endure Larry and the Lunker trees, it passes inspection.
We are all close friends who enjoy fishing, we especially like to have fun in what ever activity we happen to be doing.
Those tree fish are high in fiber, a little tough to clean but lunkers never the less. lol
We will eventually add videos to this site, but we won't remove the bloopers, as they're part of it..
